Displaying Closure and Fiber Optic Strands: User Manual

1. Navigate to Closures:
   From the Fibkit navbar, select "Closures."
2. Choose a Splice Point:
   In the closures list, choose a splice point where you want to preview fibers or make connections.
   Click on the name of the selected closure.
3. Closure View:
   In this view, you have access to the following features:
   • Available Cables: Displays a list of available cables in the closure.
   • Map with Closure Location: Shows the map with the location of the closure.
   • Edit Closure: Located to the right, above the map.
   • Show All Fibers: Link opening a new view with all fibers and information about free and occupied fibers.
   • Display Diagram: Link to automatically generate a connection diagram in the closure.
   • Note: A text field for essential information about the closure.
   • Links: Functionality allowing attachment of additional online documents, such as Excel sheets, text documents, PDFs, photos—basically anything accessible online.
   • Summary of Basic Closure Information: Provides a compilation of fundamental information about the closure.
4. Displaying Fibers:
   Select a fiber optic cable from the list of available fiber optic cables, click on the name.
   The chosen fiber optic cable will be displayed, showing strands from the first to the last in this cable.
5. Fiber Designation:
   Example: t1 f(1)1 – indicates the first tube, (1) the first strand in the tube, 1 signifies the first strand in sequence from first to last in the cable. Background numbers represent the color of the strand according to the selected color code standard.
   Example: t2 f(12)24 – indicates the second tube, 12th strand in the tube, 24th strand in the cable.
6. Cable Side A:
   Represents the point where strands from the other side of the cable terminate. The name is a link leading to a view of the point, allowing a quick preview of the cable termination.
7. Cable Side B:
   This is where we perform fiber connections.
8. Settings:
   Handy navigation with functions for fiber connections.
